Princess Ka`iulani Cup Cricket Match

The Maui Cricket Club faces off against the Honolulu Cricket Club in the First Annual Princess Ka`iulani Cup Cricket Match. Cricket has been played in the islands since the mid-19th century and was supported by King Kamehameha IV, who is considered the patron saint of Hawai`i cricket. It was also a sporting craze in Victorian Britain during the time of the Princess’ exile there and still enjoys a hearty following worldwide.

We are very pleased to include this new and exciting event as part of the festival weekend! Please join us in cheering on our island team!
